5 Easy Ways to Use Hootsuite To Manage Facebook, Google Plus And Other Social Media Sites

I noticed that most of the social media tools are not allowed to post directly on Google plus business page. 1. Create an account – You can sign-up to different social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google plus, Linkedin, Delicious, Tumblr and many more.

2. Sign-up on Hootsuite – You can sign-up to Hootsuite  or Log-in if you already have an account.

3. Add Social Network account – If you are a new user to Hootsuite, it’ll ask you to add new Social Network accounts, simply add Google Plus to  it.

4. Add RSS feed - Once you are done adding all your Google Plus profiles and Business Pages, go to Hootsuite Settings. Click on that wrench icon, located on the left. New pop-up will turn up. Choose “RSS/Atom” from the left panel. Click on the Plus button, and all the necessary details to it, including “Feed URL”, “Profiles to send the feed item too”(in case, you’ve many), “Feed post frequency” and other details. You can also add a custom text message(20 chars max) to each feed, on top it also allows offer URL shortening service. Make sure, the status is set to ON and click save. Now you are done setting up feeds in your Hootsuite settings, this will fetch all your posts from your blog via RSS Feeds and will push them to the respective Google Plus Pages or profiles depending upon your settings.

5. Compose a message and set a schedule – After you set-up those important things now you can compose messages and start promoting to social media sites. Your link will be shortened automatically, you can add images and location on your messages as well. On the right hand beside “compose message” panel on the top of your account, you can set a profile which account or profile you want the articles to be posted and click auto schedule. And now, you can see your messages on the selected social network profile.
